I'm Rafiya, 23years old, from beautiful Ghana - with a warm heart, a big smile and so much love to give! 💕
I am looking for my future family from January 2027 for 12 months - a family where I can belong, laugh, and be a big sister to your little ones.
👧 Why I love being an Au Pair:
Children are my happiness! I have many years of childcare experience and 1 year volunteering in a kindergarten. I love to play, craft, paint little hands, read stories with funny voices, sing songs, bake little cookies and explore nature. Your children's laugh is my favorite sound!
💕 Who I am:
I have a twin sister - so I know what love, sharing and family means. I am patient, kind, responsible, clean, organized, respectful and full of positive energy.
I bring Ghanaian warmth, yummy cooking (jollof rice!) and lots of cuddles!
🗣️ Languages:
English fluent, German A2 (Goethe Certificate) and learning B1 every day, Twi native. I would love to speak German with your children every day
🏡 My dream:
Not just a job - but a family. To have breakfast together, to have little adventures, to help Mama and Papa, to be there when your little ones need a hug.
I am currently in Ghana. My embassy appointment is in November, Available to start February 202/April 2027

👧💕 MY CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE 💕👧
I have more than 3 years of experience caring for children from 6 months to 10 years old - and I love every age
1. FAMILY CHILDCARE (2019 - Present) - Ghana
• Caring for my little cousins and neighbor's children (6 months, 2 years, 4 years, 6 years)
• Daily care: feeding, diaper changing, nap time, bathing, dressing
• Playing, singing, reading stories, painting, crafting
• Taking them to playground, walks in nature, small adventures
• Helping with homework for the older ones
• Cooking healthy meals for them (halal)
• Up to 30 hours per week
2. KINDERGARTEN VOLUNTEER (2023 - 2024) - 1 Year - Ghana
• Assisted teachers with a group of 15 children (2-5 years old)
• Organized games, crafts, painting, music and dance
• Reading books with funny voices - children loved it!
• Helped with lunch time, toilet training, nap time
• Learned patience, responsibility and how to handle many little ones at once
WHAT I LEARNED & WHAT I LOVE TO DO:
✨ Baby care: bottle feeding, burping, diaper, lullabies, cuddling to sleep
✨ Toddler care: play-based learning, potty training, lots of patience!
✨ Activities: painting little hands, making paper animals, building blocks, puzzles, hide-and-seek, dancing, singing children's songs
✨ Outdoor: I LOVE to go outside - park, garden, nature walks - fresh air makes children happy!
✨ House: I keep the children's rooms clean and tidy, wash their clothes, prepare snacks
I am patient when they cry, happy when they laugh, and I always listen with love. I never shout - I speak with kindness. Safety is always first for me!
