There's a special kind of chaos that comes with looking after children and honestly, it's the kind I've always felt most at home in.Hello 👋 My name is Abor Kendy, a 21 year old from Nairobi, Kenya. I live with my siblings and my three nieces, aged 7, 6, and 1, so my days are full of energy, laughter, and the occasional tantrum. I would describe myself as kind, talkative, and creative. I currently volunteer part-time at a children's home in Kiambu while doing cleaning services around Nairobi. In my free time, I love creative activities and DIYs, thrifting, hiking, reading, researching, and cooking.
I want to become an au pair because I've loved every experience I've had working with children, and I want to experience life in a new culture while improving my foreign language skills. This opportunity has been months in the making, and I am ready to commit fully to a family that will welcome me as one of their own.
You should host me because I am warm, adaptable, reliable and funny! I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, experiencing their curiosity and personalities. I'm eager to become part of your daily family life, not just as a helper but as someone your children can trust and have fun with.
I believe I qualify for this position because I have about four years of childcare experience with children aged 1 to 12, through volunteering, tutoring, babysitting, and caring for my nieces.
