Présentation
Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Mary, and I am writing to you all the way from Kenya with a happy heart and great hope that I might become your next au pair.
I am 25 years old and I come from a warm, loving family of seven children. I am the third-born. In our family, we learned to share, to help each other, and to care for the younger ones. Because of this, I grew up loving children. From when I was young, I was the one who would babysit my younger brothers, sisters, and cousins, help them with homework, tell them stories, and make sure they were safe and happy. This love for children has stayed with me until today.
Over the last few years, I have been blessed to get real experience in childcare. I worked as an au pair in Rwanda for one year. Living with a different family in a different country taught me how to respect other cultures, follow a family routine, communicate well, and be flexible. It was a beautiful learning journey.
I prepare healthy meals for kids, change diapers, keep children clean and safe, help with school homework, organize creative games, read storybooks, sing songs, draw and color together, and play outside in the fresh air. I make sure bedtime routine is calm and peaceful. I believe every child is special and unique, so I always listen, I am patient, and I give them love and attention.
I studied Health Records and Information Technology. This study helped me understand about health, hygiene, first aid, and keeping the home clean and safe for children. I am very good at keeping the house organized and tidy.
I am calm, respectful, honest, cheerful, responsible, and hardworking. I love to read novels, listen to soft music, learn new cultures, cook, and explore new places. I am open-minded and I adapt easily. I understand that living in your home means respecting your rules, your privacy, and your family values. I am ready to learn your way of life.
I love children, and I also dream of cultural exchange. I would love to learn a new language, food, your traditions, and your way of life. And I would be so happy to share my Kenyan culture with you - our food, our music, our stories, and our warm hospitality. I hope we can become like a real family and make happy memories together.
With lots of love and respect,
Mary
Expérience avec les enfants
I have over 15+ years childcare experience. I worked as an Au Pair in Rwanda for 1 year caring for children ages 3 and 6. My duties were: cooking for children, homework help, educational games, playing, bath time, bedtime stories, children's laundry and housekeeping. I love taking children for walks, outdoor play, going for picnics and exploring nature.
I worked as a Nanny for 2 years and as a babysitter for many families. I have also taken care of my younger siblings, relatives and children in my neighbourhood since I was young, because I am third-born in a family of seven. I fed them, helped with homework, played with them and ensured their safety.
I volunteered at a school for children with disabilities where I learned patience and special care.
I can change diapers, prepare bottles, cook healthy meals for kids, keep high hygiene, organize fun activities like picnics, walks, reading and games, and ensure safety at all times. I studied Health Records and Information Technology. I am calm, energetic, loving and responsible.
