Hello! My name is Shaqia, and I am 24 years old from Indonesia. I am currently living in Belgium, where I am working as an au pair.
I would describe myself as a caring, responsible, patient, and adaptable person. I enjoy spending time with children, learning new things, and experiencing different cultures.
In my free time, I love reading, writing stories, cycling, cooking simple meals, and exploring historical and cultural places. I also enjoy learning languages and getting to know people from different backgrounds.
I am looking for a welcoming host family where we can build a positive relationship based on trust, respect, and open communication.
My current au pair contract in Belgium ends on 16 August 2027, so I will be available to join a new host family from 17 August 2027 onwards.

I have childcare experience from both Indonesia and Belgium.
Before coming to Belgium, I helped with daycare and private tutoring activities, supported kindergarten learning activities, and assisted in a baby spa setting. I also helped care for my three younger siblings, including supporting them with homework, meals, and playtime.
I am currently working as an au pair in Belgium, where I help with the children's daily routines, school drop-offs, age-appropriate activities, simple meals, and light household tasks related to the children.
These experiences have helped me become more patient, responsible, attentive, and adaptable to different children's needs.
I enjoy creating a safe, comfortable, and positive environment where children can learn, play, and feel supported.
