Dear Host Family, My name is Amélie, I'm 24, and I'm from Nantes, France. I grew up in a lively family of four children (I'm the second), which taught me early on how to care for others, share, settle small squabbles, and stay calm and attentive. Professionally, I have several years of experience in business administration and customer service, which have given me strong organisational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and made me a good listener.
Experiencia con niños
My experience with childcare began naturally from a very young age within my own family. I first started looking after my younger brothers while our parents were at work especially my youngest brother, with whom I have a six-year age difference. Taking care of him was intuitive and built my comfort around children early on. Later on, I was entrusted with the full-time care of my cousins during the school holidays, managing their days : bike rides, park outings, baking treats, outdoor games, and creative crafts. Through word of mouth, family acquaintances then started asking me to babysit their children after school and in the evenings (playing, preparing dinner, and bedtime routines with story reading). To this day, being around children is completely natural to me; I am comfortable, patient, and truly enjoy spending time with them!
