Profile Description / Job Offer (Final Version) Title: Aviation Family in Manzanares el Real (Madrid) - Au Pair Plus (11 Days Off/Month!) About our family: Hi! I am a flight attendant living in Manzanares el Real, a beautiful town in the mountains just north of Madrid (famous for its historic castle and regional park). I am looking for a responsible, mature, and independent au pair to join our family starting January 6th. I have a sweet boy who attends preschool from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Schedule (Airline & Aviation Friendly): Because of my flight schedule, my monthly roster changes, but it is highly predictable in terms of rest. I spend a maximum of 8 nights per month away from home. • When I am flying (overnights): You will be fully responsible for the afternoon and evening routines (picking up my son at 3:00 PM, playground/activities, dinner, and bedtime). • When I am at base: You will have plenty of time for yourself. • Guaranteed Rest: You will have the last 7 days of every month completely free, plus 4 additional days off distributed between my flight blocks. That means you will enjoy at least 11 full days off every month to relax, study, or travel! Social Life & Area: Manzanares el Real is an amazing, safe, and beautiful place if you enjoy nature, hiking, and outdoor sports. Don't worry about being isolated: • Great Connections: There is a direct bus (Line 724) that takes only about 40 minutes from our town to Plaza de Castilla interchange in Madrid city center, running very frequently. • Au Pair Community: There is a very active network of international au pairs and language assistants living in the northern area of Madrid (neighboring towns like Colmenar Viejo and Tres Cantos) and large social media groups for weekend meetups. You will easily make friends to share trips, coffees, or hiking days! What we offer: • A private bedroom and full board in a beautiful home near the mountains. • Au Pair Plus pocket money: €100 - €120 per week (depending on experience). • A warm, welcoming environment and total respect for your scheduled free time. Our ideal Au Pair: We are looking for someone aged 21+ with previous childcare experience, who feels confident staying overnight with a child, and who values living in a peaceful nature environment while having large blocks of free time to travel.
