Bio

My name is Sara and I'm from Ethiopia. I’m a warm, friendly, and responsible person who genuinely loves kids and learning about new cultures. I wanted to be an Au Pair because it's a good chance to secure a bright Future for me and it’s so much more than just traveling. For me, it’s about becoming part of a real family, sharing my own background, and building a genuine, fun connection with children while taking a bit of the daily stress off the parents. You should consider hosting me because I’m patient, easy-going, and love creating a safe and fun environment for kids. Whether we're doing homework, playing games outside, or helping out with daily chores around the house, I’m always ready to jump in and help out. I’m a great fit for this position because I have solid childcare experience, I know how to keep my cool when things get a bit chaotic, and I really care about making sure kids feel happy and looked after while helping out busy parents.
Childcare experience

Working with kids has always been a huge part of my life. As the elder sister, I’ve spent plenty of time taking care of children of different ages, with my cousins, helping them with their everyday routines, whipping up snacks, and making sure playtime is both safe and fun. I’ve learned that every kid is completely different, and figuring out what makes them smile and feel comfortable is something I really enjoy. Specially that I once was the second mother for my younger siblings. While my dad is abroad for work, my mom used to travel for work too from time to time. At that time, i was the one taking care of my siblings eventhough I was a senior student at that time. That's why I feel confident about such responsibility. I want to become an Au Pair abroad because I am eager to step out of my comfort zone, experience life in a brand new country from a local perspective, and immerse myself in a different culture. Rather than just visiting somewhere as a tourist, I want to actually live there, pick up a new language, share traditions, and become part of a wonderful host family's everyday life.
