Bio
Hello, Dear Host Family!
My name is David Mwangi, and I’m a 22-year-old young man from Kenya. I’m excited about becoming an au pair because I love spending time with children, learning about new cultures, and discovering new languages. I would be happy to become part of a welcoming family, share my culture, and create wonderful memories together.
My Childcare Experience
I have experience caring for children, including looking after younger siblings and helping care for children in a family setting. I have also cared for four children aged 3, 5, 8, and 12 from a family in Finland, as well as gaining childcare experience in the UK.
My responsibilities have included spending time with children, playing games, helping with daily routines, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I enjoy being patient, supportive, and involved in children's everyday activities.
Why I Want to Become an Au Pair
Becoming an au pair is a wonderful opportunity for me to experience life in another country, improve my language skills, and learn about a different culture while supporting a host family. I’m hardworking, respectful, adaptable, and willing to learn. I see this experience as an opportunity to grow personally while building a meaningful relationship with my host family.
A Little About Me
I would describe myself as friendly, patient, responsible, positive, and open-minded. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, travelling, playing games, and exploring new places. I also enjoy cooking and learning new things. I’m interested in learning new languages and discovering different traditions.
I would love to bring kindness, positive energy, and a helping hand into your home while learning from your family and sharing my Kenyan culture with you.
Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. I look forward to getting to know you and hearing more about your family! ❤️
Warm regards,
David Mwangi
