Bio
Olá! I'm Beatriz from Brazil: fun-loving, active and always up for a game. If there's a ball, a rope or music playing, I'll be there. I love sports and dancing, and I enjoy teaching children simple choreographies or football tricks.
I think children learn best when they're moving and laughing, so I like to turn tasks like tidying up or practising a language into games. I swim and cycle, and I'm happy to spend afternoons at the pool, in the park or on the playground.
I'd like to spend three to six months abroad, perfecting my English, and getting to know a new country and a new family. I speak Portuguese and Spanish as well, which I'm happy to share with children if the family wants them to hear other languages.
Childcare experience
I helped raise my younger siblings from the time they were small, and I know what it takes to manage meals, homework and bedtime. I also worked part-time at a daycare, where I assisted the educators with groups of toddlers and took part in outdoor activities.
I've coached informal sports sessions for kids in my neighbourhood on Saturday mornings. I'm comfortable with different age groups and enjoy watching children gain confidence.
Health, allergies, special diets or other information
I'm in good health and I can swim and ride a bike. I smoke, but never around children and I'm happy to follow a host family's rules. I have a driving licence.
