Bio
Yassou! I'm Eleni from Greece. I'm lively and caring, and I love outdoor games: hide-and-seek, tag, football, treasure hunts and long afternoons at the playground. I enjoy cycling with children and exploring a neighbourhood on foot.
I'm outgoing and cheerful, but also calm when children need comfort. I like helping children to be independent in small ways, such as tying shoes, packing a bag or setting the table. I'm tidy and I enjoy cooking.
I'd like to spend six months to a year abroad, improve my English and experience a different culture. I'm friendly, honest and flexible, and I enjoy sharing my own traditions, especially Greek songs and stories.
Childcare experience
For two summers I worked at a children's beach camp, organising games, crafts and treasure hunts for groups aged 5 to 12. I was responsible for supervising activities, helping with snacks and keeping children in the shade and hydrated during the hot hours.
During the year I babysat for several families in my neighbourhood. I'm comfortable with different ages and I like finding activities that suit each child's interests.
Health, allergies, special diets or other information
I'm in good health, a non-smoker, and I have no allergies. I don't swim confidently enough to supervise children in deep water, so I would help with pool and beach outings alongside a parent. I don't have a driving licence.
