Hello! My name is Kathyrine, I'm 23 years old and from the Philippines. I'm a friendly, caring, and adaptable person who enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing, reading, baking, traveling, and learning languages. I also studied Cookery for two years in high school and completed Housekeeping NC II vocational training. I enjoy cooking, especially baking, and I often help prepare meals for my family. I look forward to experiencing a new culture, learning a language, and becoming part of a welcoming host family.
Childcare experience
I have two years of childcare experience with children of different ages, from infants and toddlers to school-age children. I have helped care for my cousins, and children from other families. My responsibilities have included helping with daily routines, assisting with schoolwork and homework, practicing English, and organizing fun and creative activities. I also volunteer with the children's choir at church. Currently, I assist a mother in caring for her 10-month-old baby, whom I have helped look after since infancy.
Health, allergies, special diets or other information
I don't have any known illnesses or allergies, and I don't follow any special diet. I enjoy eating a variety of foods and am open to trying new dishes and experiencing different cuisines. I also enjoy cooking and baking, so I would be happy to share some Filipino dishes with my host family. I am comfortable adapting to the family's daily routines and respecting their dietary preferences and household rules.
