Marhaba! I'm Fatima from Morocco. I'm kind and patient, and I love storytelling in several languages. I speak Arabic, French and English, and I enjoy telling traditional tales, inventing new ones and letting children choose the language for each character.
I'm warm, attentive and used to large family gatherings, so I'm comfortable with lively households. I swim and I'm happy to take children to the pool or beach. I can also drive. I like cooking and I'm happy to learn a family's favourite recipes.
I'd like to spend a year or more abroad, improve my English and live with a family who values open communication. I'm respectful, responsible and hard-working, and I'd like to be a positive presence for the children.
Expérience avec les enfants
For many years I helped care for cousins and neighbourhood children, including babies, toddlers and school-age children. I took care of meals, play, homework and bedtime stories, and I learned to adapt my style to each child.
I also volunteered at a weekend language club where I read stories in French and Arabic to young children. I'm used to multilingual households and know how to encourage children to enjoy several languages.
Santé, allergies, régimes spéciaux ou autres informations
I'm in good health and I swim confidently. I smoke, but never around children or in a family's home, and I'm happy to follow house rules. I have a driving licence.
