Ahoj! I'm Tereza from the Czech Republic. I'm calm and attentive, and I love reading and puzzles with children: picture books, chapter books, jigsaws, riddles and quiet board games. I think there's something special about the shared concentration of a puzzle.
I'm patient and organised, and I'm good at creating a peaceful atmosphere. I can swim, I enjoy walks, and I like to keep a home tidy. I'm happy to help with housework as part of a family's routine and I take my responsibilities seriously.
I'd like to spend a year or more abroad, improve my English and live in a different culture. I'm looking for a family who values trust and communication, and I'd like to be a positive, reliable presence for the children.
Childcare experience
I spent a year working as a nanny for twins in Prague, from the age of 4 to 5. I took care of meals, outings, nursery pick-ups and bedtime routines, and I learned to treat both children as individuals while keeping the day running smoothly.
Alongside that I volunteered at a library reading hour for young children. I'm used to reading aloud and keeping a group calm and interested, and I enjoy choosing books that children will love.
Health, allergies, special diets or other information
I'm in good health and I can swim. I smoke, but never around children or in a family's home, and I'm happy to follow house rules. I don't have a driving licence.
