Bio
Xin chào! I'm Linh from Vietnam. I'm cheerful and hard-working, and I love cooking with children: washing vegetables, rolling spring rolls, stirring soup and learning where food comes from. I think the kitchen is a wonderful place to practise counting, patience and teamwork.
I'm gentle and attentive, and I have a lot of experience with children of different ages because I grew up in a large extended family. I can cycle and I enjoy walking, markets and parks. I take my responsibilities seriously and I like to be useful.
I'd like to spend three to six months abroad, improve my English and share a little of my culture with a host family. I'm easy-going and respectful, and I'm happy to learn a family's ways of doing things.
Childcare experience
I've cared for my nieces and nephews since I was a teenager, from nappies and feeding to school runs and homework. Over the years I've helped raise four children, and I know how different each one can be.
I've also worked part-time in a family-run restaurant, where I learned to manage my time and stay calm under pressure. I'm happy to prepare simple, healthy meals for children and to follow a family's dietary preferences.
Health, allergies, special diets or other information
I'm healthy, a non-smoker, and I have no allergies. I don't have a driving licence but I'm comfortable on a bicycle and on public transport.
