Description
We live in Brussels with our two children, a five-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy. We're a bilingual household: French and Dutch are both part of our daily lives, and the children attend a school where they mix the two. We love the cultural mix of the city and we often take the children to museums, markets and parks.
Our schedule is fairly structured: school in the morning, activities or playdates in the afternoon, homework and dinner. Our son plays football twice a week and our daughter takes a dance class, so some help with lifts and pick-ups is needed. A driving licence is not essential, but would be a real advantage.
We'd like our Au Pair to be responsible, friendly and flexible, interested in learning French or Dutch and open to the city's international spirit. You'll have your own room, a regular schedule and enough free time to enjoy Brussels. We aim to treat you as a member of the family, not an employee.
