Hello! my name is Sylvaine
I'm an energetic and cheerful young woman looking for a wonderful family and a wonderful au pair experience to discover a new culture and improve my language skills. I already have experience taking care of children through several babysitting jobs, as well as pet-sitting, which taught me patience, responsibility, and organization.
I'm also hoping to use this experience as a stepping stone toward my future studies, as I would like to go back to school and pursue a path in the healthcare field. Spending time with children and taking care of them feels like a natural and meaningful way to build the patience, compassion, and sense of responsibility that this career path requires.
Sporty and full of energy, I'm reliable, a good listener, and always up for new adventures. This au pair experience is, for me, the perfect opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, learn the language, and build genuine connections with a host family.
I can't wait to meet you and share this wonderful adventure together!
Erfahrung mit Kinderbetreuung
I have looked after children of all ages many times for friends, mostly in the evenings. I’ve also done pet-sitting. These experiences taught me to be patient, responsible and organised, and to stay calm and caring when children need help or attention.
Gesundheit, Allergien, spezielle Diäten oder sonstige Informationen
I’m the youngest in my family. I have an older brother who is 22 and who is a big inspiration to me: he’s adventurous, kind and a very good listener. He is currently studying architecture in Belgium. I also have three half-brothers, two older and one younger, so I’m used to a lively home with different ages around me. My mum is a psychologist in a primary school and my dad is a construction site manager. I live in a city in the north-east of France, about three hours from Paris. At my mum’s house I have a little cat called Tirette, and at my dad’s house there is a dog called Léon, a Malinois cross, so I’m very comfortable around animals.
I would like to be an au pair for five to six months to discover a new culture and a new country, build real connections with people and improve my English, ideally until I’m bilingual. But what attracts me the most is the discovery itself. New Zealand is a country that I’m drawn to for its diversity and its natural beauty. I would love to be part of a family, share their daily life and learn from each other.
