My name is Marie, I’m 22 years old and I’m from France. I’m currently looking for my first au pair experience and would love to start in January or February 2027, ideally for 4 to 6 months!

A little bit about me!
I’m a caring, patient, responsible and easy-going person who enjoys discovering new cultures, spending time outdoors and meeting new people.
I also grew up in the countryside surrounded by animals, including dogs, cats, chickens and ducks. I love animals, especially dogs and horses, so a family with pets would be a big plus!
I love dancing, nature, hiking, travelling and discovering new places. I also enjoy sharing everyday moments and learning from the people around me.

Why do I want to become an au pair?
I recently started travelling on my own and I’m currently in Norway, where I’m discovering a new culture, improving my English and stepping out of my comfort zone. This experience has made me want to continue exploring the world and learning from different ways of life!
My main goal is to improve my spoken English, become more independent and experience everyday life in another country. I would also love to share my French culture with the children and teach them a few French words along the way!
What am I looking for in a host family?
I hope to find a kind, welcoming and open-minded family where communication, trust and mutual respect are important. I would love to build a genuine connection with the family and create happy memories together.
I’m happy to adapt to your routines and help with the children’s daily activities. I also appreciate clear expectations and honest communication, so everyone feels comfortable and enjoys the experience.
Erfahrung mit Kinderbetreuung
I have experience with children through babysitting and five years of teaching dance, working with children and teenagers. Teaching dance helped me develop my patience, sense of responsibility and ability to create a fun and positive environment for children.
