Dear host family,
Hello ☺️ I’m Gem from Thailand. I studied Tourism and Hospitality Management at university, and I enjoy meeting people and learning about different cultures.
I would describe myself as a calm, caring and easygoing person. In my free time, I like going for walks, spending time in nature, cooking and exploring new places. I also enjoy learning languages, especially German at the moment.
I’m interested in becoming an au pair because I would love to experience everyday life with a family in another country, rather than just visiting as a tourist. I’d also be happy to share a little bit of Thai culture with my host family.
For me, a good host family is one where everyone feels comfortable being themselves, communicates honestly and treats each other with kindness. I hope to find a family where I can feel at home while also helping with the children and becoming part of their daily lives.
Erfahrung mit Kinderbetreuung
Most of my childcare experience comes from looking after my niece and nephew. I have helped take care of them since they were babies, and I’ve watched them grow up to around three years old.
Taking care of little children has taught me that you need a lot of patience because every day can be different. Sometimes they want to play, sometimes they need comfort, and sometimes they just need someone to be there for them.
I enjoy spending time with children and being part of their everyday activities. I’m happy to play with them, keep them company and help with their routines. I also understand that every family has its own way of doing things, so I’m willing to listen to the parents and follow their rules.
I know that looking after children is a big responsibility, and I would always do my best to make them feel safe and cared for.
Gesundheit, Allergien, spezielle Diäten oder sonstige Informationen
I have a dust allergy, so I try to avoid places with a lot of dust. I don’t have any special dietary requirements and am generally happy to eat a variety of foods.
