Hello lovely families, my name is Shelvine and I'm so excited to meet you. I come from Kenya and I can't wait to join your family. I'm 26, I might have a small body stature but I come with a huge heart and lots of positive vibes. I am the first born in my family, so at an early age I was the primary parent to my two siblings whom I took care off, and that's when my love for children started. During my free time, I absolutely enjoy preparing delicious meals, going on hikes, reading, cycling outdoors and traveling to other cities.
I want to become an aupair because I want to experience a new culture, language and way of tradition from my host country, and gaining childcare experience abroad. I understand being an au pair is not just about childcare but I'll come with lots of positive transferable skills to share with my host kids and family. Erfahrung mit Kinderbetreuung
I truly love babysitting. I have had lovely experiences taking care of children which has helped me gain a strong sense of responsibility and reliability. Plus it makes me creative and I find fun and active ways to keep kids engaged. After my college, I took a babysitting job where I took care of three children aged 1 to 9. My responsibilities were preparing meals, doing laundry, assist with school projects, diaper change and soothing the baby to sleep. I also volunteer in a children's home for three months where I took care of children from different ages, and such experience has taught me the importance of being patient and understanding especially during tantrums.
