Sawubona! I'm Thandiwe from South Africa. I'm adventurous and sporty, and I love the outdoors: hiking, picnics, ball games and anything that gets children moving and breathing fresh air. I also enjoy swimming and I'm confident in the water.
I'm cheerful, I'm good at finding games with whatever is at hand, and I like to help children try new things at their own pace. I don't mind housework and I'm happy to be part of a family's routine, from cooking dinner to tidying up.
I'd like to spend a year or more abroad, see a new part of the world and get to know a family well. English is my everyday language, so I can help children practise and play in it naturally.
Experiencia con niños
I've worked as an after-school carer for two families, collecting children from school, supervising homework, preparing snacks and organising activities until their parents came home. The children were between 6 and 12, and we developed a good routine with a mix of study time and outdoor play.
I've also volunteered at a youth sports club, helping younger children with simple athletics and team games. I know how to encourage shy children and how to keep energetic ones safe.

I'm healthy and fit, a non-smoker, and I have no allergies. I swim confidently and could help supervise at a pool.
