Vorstellung
I'm Giulia, and I've always been the person friends call when a child needs entertaining. I grew up in a big, noisy Italian family where there was always a younger cousin to look after, and somewhere along the way that turned into my favourite thing to do.
I'm cheerful and patient, and I love arts and crafts: painting, collage, building things out of cardboard boxes and anything that makes a table gloriously messy. I also like turning ordinary moments into small games, whether that's tidying toys or walking to school.
I'd like to spend a few months living in another country, improving my English or learning a new language and becoming a real part of a family's daily routine. I enjoy cycling and I'm happy to take the kids on bike rides in the park.
Erfahrung mit Kinderbetreuung
For two summers I worked as a camp counselor for children aged 4 to 10, organising daily activities, sports mornings and rainy-day workshops. It taught me how to keep a mixed-age group happy and how to stay calm when ten things are happening at once.
Outside camp I regularly looked after the children of neighbours and friends in the evenings and at weekends. I'm comfortable with homework help, snack time, bedtime routines and the many small negotiations in between.

I'm in good health with no allergies. I smoke, but never around children and never indoors, and I'm happy to follow a host family's rules about it.
